Check out the frequently asked questions below, to get more insight on this service.
Why is personal training so expensive?
When you compare the cost to the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, it really is not that expensive. When you are fit and healthy, medical bills drop, sick days are reduced and you are more energetic and productive. Those things translate directly to positively impact your bottom line. A good trainer should want you to “graduate” from personal training and transition into working out on your own. That means they have been successful in instilling healthy lifestyle habits that you can now practice for the rest of your life.
How many sessions per week do I need?
Two is generally a good number. I also advocate cardio training on the days in between. The body is at its best when moving. If you do some sort of exercise 3-5 days per week, you will see results.
How long will it take for me to see results?
Exercise has a cumulative effect. If you are consistent with workouts and follow the meal recommendations I provide, you typically see noticeable physical changes in 4 weeks.
What are your training fees?
I only discuss my service fees during a mandatory individual or group fitness consultation/seminar. This fact finding event is a prerequisite so that I can determine your needs and goals so that I can help you accordingly. Also, it gives you an opportunity to meet me and visit the training facility. If you dislike either, my fees become irrelevant.
For an individual consultation, the fee is $75.00. My small group seminar fee is $20. The both come with an unconditional money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the information that I share with you during the consultation or seminar, you pay nothing……no questions asked! Once you pay, you are indicating that you are satisfied. Please do not pay unless you are truly satisfied. From that point forward, no money will be refunded.
For information on my next seminar, see the services page.
Do I have to become a member of Winter Park Health and Fitness?
Yes. The fee is $30 and there is no contract. You pay the gym directly month to month.
Will I receive a discount if I buy a large number training sessions?
No. I never compromise my fees in exchange for my client’s commitment. Remember, personal training is a service not a product.
How much weight can I lose on you programs?
Your weight lose with my programs will vary based upon your commitment to adhering to my professional advice. You should be more concerned with fat loss instead of just weight loss. These are two totally different things.
The average weight loss is 1-3 pounds per week. I have had clients lose more and less. The key here is to make your weight loss, mostly fat and not muscle. That’s what I focus on. If you are looking for happy feelings from seeing the scale display a number that is comforting to you, then I am not the trainer for you.
Does your training service include diet or meal plans?
No. I am not a Dietitian or a Nutritionist, so I don’t even go there. With that said I do provide nutrition education and recommend a meal service to fast track client results.
How long are your training sessions?
Most people over train or spend too much time working out as a whole. Knowing this fact, all of my training sessions only last 30 minutes. I treat training sessions like a job. You show up. You put in some hard work. Then you go home. You can finish your training session with some cardio but that is optional.
Why should you hire me over any other fitness professional?
Remember, you are an extension of me. If you look and feel good, so does my business. I am willing to educate you, motivate you and keep you focused on your goals so that you get the results that you sought when you first met with me.
I know what it feels like to be healthy and in shape. Also, to have confidence when you look in the mirror. I believe that everyone should have that feeling, and be healthy. So it’s my duty to do all I can to give you what you pay me for….RESULTS!
I have a very simple success formula. Follow my coaching and you will get the results that you want, when you want. If you don’t, odds are your results won’t come as fast and will be haphazard at best. So if you want results hire me and let’s go to work.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require a 24 hour notice of cancellation. If you do not honor that, you will be charged for that missed session.
