What Is Nutrition And What Does It Do For Your Body

As people progress in age, so do their dietary needs.  It is extremely important that the aging follow a diet that will properly aid and nourish them.  Elder nutrition doesn’t necessarily follow the same guidelines that young to middle aged adult nutrition does.  Some specific and key elements must be incorporated to combat the aging process.

Off lately there has been a rise in demand for nutritionists. The reason behind this is our present consumption habits. Many of us eat whatever comes our way without thinking twice, unaware of the fact that we are becoming the victims of unnecessary ailments. The numbers of such diseases is alarming and people have come to understand the importance of nutritionists. They treat them equally important as their gym instructors.  If you are new to this nutritionist concept, you should understand one fact. An ideal nutritionist will advise you not only in terms of diet but also will explain to you the psychology of eating.

What I found that works well for me is to cook all my foods at once. I like to cook enough food to last a few days all at the same time, and store it all in the fridge. Another way I make meal frequency easy is to pack all my meals for the day the night before. That way all I have to do is heat them up in the microwave.
The first meal of the day for me consists of egg whites and oats. If you’re not trying to lose weight I would recommend adding a few egg yolks in the mix, it tastes better and adds nutrition. The next three meals are about the same consisting of chicken, brown rice, olive oil, and broccoli. If you don’t like to eat the same foods all the, I recommend switching to a different meat or carbohydrate source. The next meal usually is a protein shake before the gym, and the same after. Later on I have another meal like the three earlier in the day, and a protein shake before bed.

The new age believes that God is in the details. While we take the utmost care in presenting ourselves, there are a very few of us who actually take care of our bodies. We skip to be detailed in aspects of what nutrients our body needs. Thankfully, at this age we have nutritionists who can help us live a healthy and a better life.

Nutritionists play prominent role in the stream of sports. Surprisingly this has been an age old tradition where sport nutritionists were hired in ancient Greek and Rome Olympic Games to train their respective participants. Such was the dedication to sport. There are historical accounts of Greek wrestlers who followed strict diet chart improvised by their sport nutritionists or masters. During those days meal plan was the term generally used and it had a combination of meat, bread and wine. Today, it’s no more a meal plan but an elaborate stretch of diet chart constantly being improvised by the sport nutritionists.

Some states require certification to become a nutritionist, which involves an internship and the passage of an exam. After getting your license, if your state requires it, then you can begin looking for work. The pay for nutritionists ranges from $30,000 to $45,000 depending on experience, location, specialization and level of education, but there is room for advancement and many rewards that come with this career.
